SARDINIAN GNOCCHETTI WITH TOMATOES
Ingredients for 4/6 servings:
– 50 g of grated pecorino cheese
– 50 g of bacon
– 450 g of pasta, type: Sardinian gnocchi
– 1000 g of (Lettieri)Foods peeled tomatoes
– 6 tablespoons of Lettieri Foods extra virgin olive oil
– 1 clove of garlic
– 1 onion
– Basil to taste
– Salt to taste
– Pepper to taste

Directions:
Chop onion, bacon and basil and cook it all in 6 tablespoons of extravirgin olive oil. When the onion is golden, add tomatoes, garlic, salt and pepper. Cook the mixture for about 40 minutes over low heat. Boil the gnocchi in salted water, drain and toss with the sauce and grated pecorino.
